KINGS RIDGE

Kings Ridge is a 55+ active adult community located in Clermont, FL. With building completed in 2000, the community features mature landscaping and is divided into 15 intimate neighborhoods. There are two golf courses in the community, both of which offer resident-only play three days per week. Residents can have a membership to the North course only or both the North and South course. Almost half of the homes in Kings Ridge active adult neighborhoods have views of one of these golf courses. Nearby is the Diamond Players Club golf course, Lake Louisa State Park, Presidents Hall of Fame, Lakeridge Winery and Vineyard and the Florida Citrus Tower.

The community has a full-time activities director who organizes cruises, trips, bus rides to local shopping, charity dinner-dances, clubs, weekly activities, twice monthly social nights and performances on the ballroom stage. There are dozens of social clubs for a variety of interests including card games, historians, book lovers, golfers, photographers, artists, hobbyists, bible study, computers, performing artists and computers to name a few. The community features two gyms, one inside the main clubhouse and one inside the North Spa building. The Royal Clubhouse also offers an aerobics room including classes such as yoga, flexible strength and aquasize.

This active adult neighborhood offers three large swimming pools, one by the Royal Clubhouse and two by the North Spa, the two largest of which are heated pools. The clubhouse pool has three cabanas with tables, chairs and grills for a relaxing day grilling out poolside. The North Spa pools offer two more cabanas. The community features two hot tubs, one outdoor by the clubhouse and one indoor at the North Spa. The North Spa building also houses the cold plunge, dry saunas and steam rooms. Outdoors, the community has courts for basketball, bocce ball, pickleball, tennis and shuffleboard. Inside the Royal Clubhouse, residents can play billiards, cards and enjoy other hobbies and activities.

Kings Ridge was built by Lennar, with construction completed in 2000. There are 2,088 homes in the community ranging from 980 to 2560 square feet. Most are one story and 2-3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. More than half of the homes have golf course views and many offer 3-car garages. HOA fees include professional home maintenance, lawn care, use of the clubhouse and a 24-hour guarded gate. Home prices range from $215,000 to $700,000 in this active adult community.
